| Dear Colleagues, Thank you for your cooperation in delivering the enhanced services in Lancashire & South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB). Following the guidance issued by NHS England with regards to the Cost Uplift Factor, Primary Eyecare Services wrote to Lancashire & South Cumbria ICB to request an uplift on behalf of the participating practices. We are pleased to confirm that the ICB has awarded an uplift on all services backdated to April 2025 following this approach. This means we have been able to increase your practice fees as outlined below. This is in line with our commitment to support the optical providers to continue delivery of the services to help patients being seen in community closer to home. We are in the process of implementing this uplift and can confirm that any retrospective payment for services delivered between April 2025-Sep 2025 totalling more than £10 will be paid to practices. Any activity from October 2025 will be paid at the new tariffs. Note the new tariffs below: |

| Please do ask patients to complete the feedback survey (PROMS) after each episode of care. Positive patient feedback is vital and favourable for continued delivery of the services. The feedback responses have increased since the change to an opt-out rather than an opt-in system and we thank all the practitioners for this. We would encourage all practitioners to continue to direct patients to respond to the survey. Primary Eyecare Services is pleased to share this positive news with you and hope it demonstrates our continued commitment to work proactively on your behalf to ensure you benefit from additional monies as and when they are available Please get in touch if you have any queries. Kind regards, Timothy Bagot & Edward Ovenden – Clinical Leads Kayleigh Buttery – Contracts & Service Lead Primary Eyecare Services |
