The LOC is pleased to support a research project being undertaken by Ben Ayliffe, an optometrist currently completing an MSc in Management at Keele University. The study is exploring workplace wellbeing, burnout and job satisfaction among UK optometrists and aims to help build a better understanding of the challenges and experiences faced across the profession. Despite growing international evidence highlighting high levels of burnout within healthcare professions, there remains limited UK-specific research focused on optometry. This study seeks to address that gap and contribute to a more sustainable future for the profession. [LMBLOC web…te enquiry | Outlook]
The research involves a short, anonymous online questionnaire that takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. Responses are welcomed from optometrists working in all settings and at all career stages across the UK. [LMBLOC web…te enquiry | Outlook]
To ensure the findings are as robust and representative as possible, Ben Ayliffe is seeking participation from optometrists in every region of the UK. [LMBLOC web…te enquiry | Outlook]
