Dear Colleague,
We are pleased to invite all practices and practitioners across Lancashire and South Cumbria to attend a pre-launch event for the new Eye Care Navigation Service (also known as Single Point of Access).
This session will introduce the service ahead of launch, providing a clear overview of what the Eye Care Navigation Service is, how it will operate and what it means for you and your practice. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and hear directly from the team delivering the service.
Event details:
Date: Thursday, 21st May 2026
Time: 7:00PM – 8:30PM
Online, Microsoft Teams
This event will be hosted by Helen Haslett, Triage Clinical Lead and Timothy Bagot and Edward Ovenden, Lancashire and South Cumbria Clinical Leads, with support from clinical and operational colleagues involved in delivering the service.
This is an important opportunity to understand how to service will support patient pathways and what it means for your day-to-day practice ahead of go-live.
While the event will be recorded, we strongly encourage attendance from all practices to ensure you are well prepared and able to confidently engage with the service from day one.
If you have any questions in advance, there will be time to raise these during the session.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Kind regards,
Primary Eyecare Services
