The ICB have asked us to remind practices/practitioners that cataract referrals should, wherever possible, be sent via eERS on Opera and not via email.
This is particularly concerning in Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre, Preston, Chorley & South Ribble where the commissioned pathway is for ALL cataract referrals to be sent to the Referral Management Centre/Single Point of Access to ensure patients are offered choice of provider.
