Dr Sonali Dave a research fellow at UCL GOS Institute of Child Health has asked the LOC to circulate the below request to our constituents.
“We are inviting optometrists to share their views on using anterior segment OCT (AS-OCT) for disease detection and surveillance in childhood, and we additionally seek to understand community opinions around the specific use of AS-OCT for community-based care in children at risk of uveitis.
We would very much like to hear from all practitioners working in any setting that sees children, including those with or without access to AS-OCT. Please click here for the survey: https://redcap.idhs.ucl.ac.uk/surveys/?s=TXNDHWKNYEPANKL9
This survey is led by researchers at UCL and Great Ormond Street Hospital in collaboration with the College of Optometrists and Ulster University. The survey takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. For queries, please contact the research team: sonali.dave@ucl.ac.uk.”
