At a recent meeting between officers of the LOC and NHS England (in Preston) we were advised that the latter will be requesting the re-completion and submission of the ‘Quality in Optometry’ checklist which GOS contractors are obliged to do every few years. Some practices will also be selected at random for contract compliance visits. We have been advised that these QiO requests and visits will be undertaken in alphabetical order of CCG (as below) with perhaps a month or two’s gap between each.
