It appears that some wet AMD referrals are being sent to Community Health & Eyecare (CHEC) by mistake which has been delaying the effective treatment of patients.
Consultant ophthalmologist Mr Khalil (of BVH) has asked the LOC to remind its members that ALL wet AMD referrals should be made to BVH directly using the following contact details –
