Dear colleagues,
Since 1st April 2023, commissioning of General Ophthalmic Services (GOS) in England has been delegated from NHS England to the Integrated Care Boards (ICBs). Your ICB, Lancashire & South Cumbria, would like to welcome contractors to the new organisation.
We would like to take the opportunity to explain:
- An outline of the new organisational structure
- GOS – what has changed and what has not
- Who’s who – some familiar names and some new faces
- An overview of what we hope to achieve in primary care and how this might relate to primary care optical practices.
This event is aimed at GOS contract holders, their practice managers, and clinical leads. Please hold the date in your diary. We will share more information about how to join the meeting nearer the time.
