Dear Colleagues,
Many optical practice staff have already been getting their first Covid vaccinations in the Morecambe Bay area, either through individual medical practices or from one of the three hospital hubs within the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay.
For those of you in other areas who have yet to hear anything I do no think it will be long before you do.
In the meantime please can you be prepare by compiling a list of names of people in your practice who would want vaccinating, their dates of birth, NHS Numbers, employer’s name, job title, email address and whether their role is patient facing. This information is likely to be needed so a booking link can be sent to those people.
Please do not send this information to the LOC but have it to hand ready to submit when requested.
